'Cause it's that time again!
Yup, hot off the presses, I have an autographed copy of Josi Kilpack's newest book, Tres Leches.
Usually I give a little blurb about the book and how much I liked it. But I'm not this time. "Cause other than the recipes, I don't have a clue what happens to Sadie in New Mexico. In all honesty, my book came late last night, and I have to leave in just a couple of days to fly to Utah. Since most of my readers actually live in Utah, I want to bring the book with me to save $ on shipping, 'cause that's how I roll!
CONTEST: win a copy of Tres Leches.
TO ENTER: leave ONE comment on THIS post telling me something interesting. Say your favorite memory of me. Or a random fact. Or the thrilling tale of how you shaved your legs yesterday. Just something more than "I want a free book".
DEADLINE: Sunday, Sept 23, 8:00 pm Central time. Winner will be randomly drawn from all entries (though bonus brownie points to all comments that make me laugh!). I'll announce the winner on this blog . . . um sometime after I land in Utah!
Let us see... a memory of you... Going to stomp, that was cool. The first time you had me try cheese and frosting... I guess all of the times we would try strange things. Remember Doritos and red Kool-aid? Then there is always the classic stuff the sheet down your pants so you can have a peacock tail. Pretty much you're cool. :)
ReplyDeleteOh man! Paily took some good ones! About all I am coming up with is for some reason I am thinking about us tap dancing "The Locomotion" on a little paved road at a famiy reunion. Then we had to move everytime a car came by. "You got to swing your hips now" It was super fun to play and see you on my recent visit! I am excited to see you soon!!
ReplyDeleteI guess I could talk about changing your diapers and watch you play in the emergency room when you sliced your leg on an upholstery tack, but I'm halfway through the book on my kindle so I don't need the book. Can't wait to see you!!!
ReplyDeleteI want a free book, please (that was more:)
ReplyDeleteAll those memories from our sweet little special Ed room that totally prepared me for the gross things that happen in motherhood. I'd much rather clean up my own kids' boogers than my students'. Just sayin.
ReplyDeleteAnd in the spirit of cupcakes, I ate a snicker doodle cupcake last month that knocked my socks off. Yum. Seriously.
Also, I like your blog and am amazed at all you get done around your house. I'm lucky if I vacuum once a week. For real.
When you taught me about the lingual frenulum...that was interesting...We might have even been at Bear Lake that day...
ReplyDeleteBelly Boyton Club! Need I say more? :) Love you!
ReplyDeleteI need a new book to read while I am stuck in the house with no where to go.
